DeLue Law PLLC is a civil litigation firm. Our practice includes matters related to construction, real estate, employment, and personal injury. We have substantial experience in all methods of dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation. We also work with clients to avoid disputes by providing advice on legal and contractual issues, assisting them in preparing documents, and dealing with problems that arise day to day.

Dan D. DeLue’s practice focuses on litigation with an emphasis on commercial, construction, civil rights, employment, whistleblower claims, as well as general plaintiff cases.
Dan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the King County Bar Association and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in all Washington State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals-9th Circuit, and the United States District Court of Washington.
Dan graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with honors in the areas of political science and history. He then went to law school at the University of Washington and graduated in 1999. Dan currently lives in Seattle and spends his free time skiing and mountaineering.

No case is too big or small. Dan recently settled a whistleblower lawsuit for $18,500,000 and a small claim for $7,500 in a hard-fought construction dispute where he refused to give in at all. He was able to provide the service and recover his attorneys' fees in both cases. He has also defended claims in excess of $10,000,000 to trial in both the commercial and construction litigation context.
Dan also now works with whistleblower lawyers.

Inga Shigetani
Experienced paralegal working in personal injury and all aspect of civil litigation.
Inga has been working as a paralegal in Seattle since 2007, and with Dan DeLue - since 2009.
Inga was born and raised in the Seattle area. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Law, Society & Justice.
Inga currently lives in West Seattle with her husband, son, and daughter. She spends her free time traveling, running, and hanging out with her friends and family.
